you won't believe what happened i actually forgot my yarn basket with the started project at our holiday home... thank goodness it was mailed back to me!
this is on my kitchen table. the tea is earl grey and the book is the love child by amanda brookfield. it is light reading which i am enjoying, especially all the different layers and stages of relationships described.

Yikes on leaving your yarn basket at your holiday home, really glad you got it back :)
I've knit that one and I'd gladly knit it again! Fun :) Love your colors and the striped mug to go with it.
I've heard only wonderful things about the color affection shawl and yours looks like it's off to a wonderful start! Love your color choices.
That must've been a shock to realize you had forgotten it!
It looks great so far!
I'd like to start a crochet project again soon. But first I need to make up my mind on what kind of project to get into.
Color Affection is a great pattern but the switching of colors made me crazy towards the end. I will definitely be making another one since I use it so much. Good luck with your KAL. I can't wait to see your progress.
Stripes and stripes ~ love your photo. I think I have that pattern faved on Ravelry too. Can't wait to see your progress!
So glad you were able to get your basket back! Have fun with the knit-along. That's a pattern I think I should add to my queue ;-)
I love the colors you are using for your shawl!
Love the knitting and you are drinking one of my favorite teas.
It is mile of garter stitch but much fun in colour.
Love the colour selection you are using.
Enjoy the simple beauty.
Such a pretty shawl, love the color combination! I would have been freaking out if I'd left my knitting basket somewhere. Glad you got it back. :-)
I really love your yarn choices for the shawl. I would love to knit a Color Affection someday!
