even though i am sure we would find an orchard to pick our own apples wherever we lived, i feel quite lucky that we live only a short drive away from europe's largest fruit producing region. picking apples as a family is an autumn tradition i am growing fonder of every year. one of the many, simple autumn delights i love!

These trees are loaded with apples!! Wish I could have some, my favorite apples are from this area!
