at year's closing
it's hard to write a post about what this year has meant and brought.
it has been the most intensive year of my life, full of the stuff of life, from the very best, to the very worst.
we welcomed our sweet little junebug into our family. and six weeks later, a beloved little cousin and nephew, whom we lost again, way to soon. there have been illnesses, surgeries, therapies, break-ups and heartbreak.
but there has been so much love, togetherness, and happiness too. witnessing a sibling relationship develop, transitioning into a family of four, multiplying the love and joy and delight by just adding one new member to the family. two long-time friends of our's got married this year, new friendships were formed and old ones deepened.
2012 has taught me more then ever to see the full picture. to focus on what really matters in my life and to make sure that i never lose track of that.
i know already now that 2013 will become an exciting year for our family. there will be a move, and creative pursuits will be fulfilled. and everything else - all the bumps on the way - we'll take them along.
thank you all for your interest, encouragement and support here on artsy ants in 2012! we have cherished this community and look forward to sharing art, crafts, inspiration and life's little adventures here with you in 2013, too!
Be well, everybody! See you next year!
