years ago my mom and i decided to paint one evening, just to relax a little. there was a tiny magazine cut out on the kitchen table, it was a picture of a polar bear. so i decided to paint him. all i used was blue, white and black paint.
available as greeting card print in our store
the first time i saw a real polar bear (the poor thing was dead and stuffed and put on display at a museum, i think it was the natural history museum in london) i was amazed at it's size. these things can get HUGE!

Mal wieder sooo toll :)
Hast Du wieder mit den Fingern gemalt?
i remember seeing the stuffed polar bear at the natural history museum for the first time! i saw it again in 2007 and was still amazed about it's size!! sad to realize they have less and less space to live on this earth :(
oh yes, and i LOVE the painting, of course!!
Wow, this painting is stunning.
Remember those cozy evenings... and of course, I remember the huge bear at the natural history museum in london as well.
Also:
I still love the children's book "I just love you" (Ich hab' dich einfach so lieb) about a baby-polar-bear longing for his mama to hug him. Cant't wait to read it to Spencer.
