while i had sketched cats (but only after i got one myself since i
was not a cat person before i met my little kitty) i had never made a
detailed drawing of a cat until just now. as i thought it would, it took
quite some patience to draw all that fur. there is a complete picture
of the drawing
in the shop listing, there you'll also see the original photo next to it.
well, i'll have to get back to another project now, just thought i'd share this with you today. we got some snow here in georgia (which pretty much shut down the whole town), so i'm enjoying the gorgeous white landscape view from my workspace.
did you also get some snow where you're at?

your attention to detail is amazing! I wasn't a cat person either until we had a cat long ago. Allergies have prevented cat ownership but I remember the fur, the purring the softness-all in your drawing.

Oh that is beautiful. We have 3 cats, all long haired and poofy.
