yarn along

i'm joining ginny today with a yarn along. because 2 of my favourite things are knitting and reading too :) i'm still working on the golden wheat cardigan, but as you can see, it's really coming together (it actually looks like a cardigan already). i hope to finish it next week. and i still love browsing the big book of small cool spaces. so inspiring. what are you knitting and/or reading?

I do love the color of yarn you are using. Orange has become one of my favorite summer
colors.

I just finished knitting a lovely scarf for my penfriend, whom I'll meet in July at a Bible-seminar. The idea I got from a knitting book I found at Sylvia's house.
The book I read last is entitled: "The Guernsey Potato-Peel-Pie Society" - and it's phantastic. The whole story is just told in letters. The author seems to love Guernsey just as much as I do. (To overseas-readers: Guernsey is one of the Channel Islands between England and France).

Correct and complete title of the book:
"The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows

I can not yarn because I can't sit still for more than an hour, but I love its pumpkin color.

Cool color. I've always wanted to learn to knit. Is it hard to learn?

Your cardi is looking great Sylvia! No knitting for me at the moment but I am crocheting a ruffle scarf in this yarn that merges into different colours - it's looking quite different but a good different :-P

I love the color of that yarn you're using and wish it was a color I could wear! Just found that pattern on Ravelry and added it to my queue - thanks for the inspiration.
