the reason i had waited to long to complete this painting was in the last step: i was thinking of putting a grey border around the image area but was unsure about it. not wanting to mess everything up i then decided to take a photo of the painting and try out in photoshop if the border would look the way i envisioned. then, with the support of my hubby's opinion i finally had the courage to go ahead and complete the artwork. i really like the grey line, it makes this 3-D effect that i was going for more obvious.
so, here it is. it looks fantastic on my grayish/lavenderish sunroom wall, don't you think?
