a cute, fall-y knit finished: the tiny trees vest
this vest only took me about half a year to complete - but hey! i got it finished by fall. and as many of you so nicely commented on last week's yarn along, yes, the colors are perfect for autumn. i also love that this color scheme is perfect for a boy, all in all, but that there is a bit of plum and eggplant in there as well, so that it's not typically boyish. the yarn is 100% merino and i got it at a local store. as i mentioned before i'm not 100% happy with the straps, but as i made them a bit shorter (and it still fits) it doesn't really show that much. all other details on my ravelry project page. (the photos were taken with an un-blocked vest).
next up: a sweater dress for junebug. she has been wearing her sweater dress since she was 9 months old, and is wearing it as a vest right now, but it is getting a bit short. i will share more about her new sweater dress in tomorrow's yarn along :)

the vest is adorable!! Better late than never :)
the colors are great for both boys and girls. once junebug fits in this one she can simply wear a more girly shirt under it!
I love the vest! I know it took you awhile but in general was it hard to do?
@KC: not, it's a very simple and easy to follow pattern. it took me so long because i took a long summer knitting break :)
