a sisterly yarn along

simona:

the little blue crochet mouse has been finished for over two weeks already. i made it for anja, and on the way to her place i realized that i did not have any photos of the mouse yet. so i placed it on hubby's jacket, the best backdrop i could find in the train.
somehow funny that both sylvia's and my photo have orange and blue in them :)

sylvia:

i am still reading the first book of Anne of Green Gables and Last Child in the Woods, a few pages here and there depending on my mood. i finished the plain vest with the blue collar and i really like the way it turned out. it is soft and warm and will be worn often in the cooler months to come for sure! i still need to weave in the ends and find buttons, then i will take pictures of it on the junebug.

i made the plain vest with stash yarn exclusively, so yesterday i bought some lovely soft, grey merino wool to cast on another Fisherman's Pullover for my little man. the green one i made for him is too small by now, and knowing my knitting speed at the moment i think it's best to start with an autumn/winter pullover in summer!

joining ginny's yarn along. what are you knitting and reading?
