exhibition details: my mixed media canvases
so here as promised is the follow-up post showing the mixed media canvases that i exhibited at the art exhibition 2 weekends ago. (i'm sorry about the quality of the photographs, i'm afraid this is all you get on a grey november morning).
some of you might still know the above canvases, the sailing one is from 2007 (i had shared it on my old blog) the other from 2010.
this one might also look familiar to some, it's from 2008. i had it hanging in a craft corner in our apartment for a while. it's one of my favourite pieces (translation: maybe it helps to let the chaos out from time to time).
the next one was created the night before the exhibition. i'm glad the gel medium dried in time. i used cut up pages of a hamburg city map, melted wax crayons and little birch twigs on this one.
thanks for coming by today! hope you're all having a bit of creative time today. i will start making salt dough projects with my little one today, can't wait to start, make and then share ...
