autumn decoration : leaf glow jar
i arrived back home in germany last week and here the air is crisp (almost freezing in the mornings). but the sun has been shining for the last couple of days. i view each autumn day with blue skies and at least some colourful leaves above me as a gift. by the weekend i was itching to make something - just something. i'm always on the lookout for holiday-neutral seasonal decorations, and so i found this link.
i followed the instructions except i used some leftover gel medium instead of mod podge and i also used fewer leaves, just one row actually. isn't it lovely how the light of the candle is glowing behind the leaves and shows every detail of them. so cozy!

That is beautiful, so warm and glowing :)
The jar is really pretty. Thank you for the link as I think that would make a great project to do here. I am so envious of your chilly morinings, we are going to be 85 degrees today...for October that is just plain Wrong! xx
How pretty it looks! I will have to be on the lookout for some colorful fallen leaves so I can make a jar like this myself!
I could also imagine this being a nice present to bring somebody, especially someone elderly who can't leave the house much.
Such a fabulous idea and so effective looking! Scarlett x
I love the look of this!
