freshly brewed cup of coffee painting on canvas, 14 x 11 inches - SOLD -
really it could also be any type of hot beverage, to me it could also be hot cocoa, cappuccino, espresso, etc.
to infuse the painting with some delicious and elegant sparkle, i incorporated metallic copper paint with the browns and mocha tones. on account of the subtle copper shine it feels to me like the steam coming alive. maybe one day i'll figure out how to best capture the sparkle of metallic paint in a photo. does anybody have tips on that?
well, i've almost finished my cup of morning coffee (yes, okay, the painting does not not always substitute the real deal, at least not this morning) and i'll head off to weekend activities.
the forecast is predicting rain and t-storms for today so i'm not sure what we're going to do in the evening.
what's your weather going to be like this weekend? do you have any outdoor activities planned?
have a happy, sunny weekend, everybody!

it looks great! and it reminds me i'm already done with cup 1, it's time for cup 2 :)
The coffee painting looks delicious :) I'm having my third cup of the day right now! Hope you have a great weekend!
our weekend was okay.. weatherwise compared to Friday. jeff and spencer went to Klövensteen yesterday. and we had a little bike ride today, despite of some rain and playground after that. it's not summer weather, really. but it doesn't help to complain...
yummm, now i want a cup o' coffee!
well over here in h-town, it was a lil bit rainy, so i just stayed home and dyed my hair with my man-friend. so no complaints, and now i'm off to a friends wedding which gives me a chance to dress up so YAY! hope your weekend was fantasticals!
I really like it, I love the shadows around the cup as well, nothing beats a cuppa for inspiration right?
