anybody who has been to our home or has had house design discussions with me knows that the kitchen is the room least loved in our apartment. but what is the use of bla-bla-ing about the L-shape, the lack of countertop space, the distance between the sink and the stove - when there is simply nothing you can do about it for the short term? right, just move on and try to work with what you have. and since last thusday i have to admit i moved up a bit on the happy-with-my-kitchen-scale!
small measures, big difference. we attached a Kroken to the ceiling (which admittedly was an adventure in our turn-of-the-century-building, you might just end up in the kitchen above with your drill sooner than you think, but all went well!)
- and ta-da, i'm a bit closer to the spacious, country-style, cook-friendly kitchen i'm dreaming of. pots and pans and other cooking utensils are within reach, and best of all the microwave is out of focus at last! i also moved the spice rack over from the other side of the kitchen, so cooking from now on should be even more fun!!

I love kitchens with personalities! Mine is all... boring.
Your kitchen looks pretty darn adorable to me!
And thanks for the super nice comment on my blog post '3 years'
