knitting and reading

(my knitting and reading along with some of the lilies i got for our wedding anniversary).

i've finished The Rosie Project and loved it! in fact, i loved it so much that i don't know if i am looking forward to the sequel coming out in september, The Rosie Effect. i'm a bit afraid i might be disappointed. after reading Me Before You last year, i am now starting my second Jojo Moyes book. my mum just read it and i trust her taste! so far, i've completed 6 books for my summer reading program, 4 more to go! knitting wise there is not much progress. we have been renovating our bath, doing much of the work after the children went to bed. also, it has been hot hot hot. i just can't work with wool in these temperatures. not complaining though, cold and rainy weather will bring me back to my needles soon enough!

what are you knitting and reading right now??

Beautiful lilies, happy anniversary!

Just cast off the hitchhiker, now working on a sweater for me. Reading has been of the homeschool sort as I prepare for the coming school year.

Have a great day!

I think knitting slows down for me in the summer because the kids are home and life is crazy. Love that you are reading your list that you created. Happy anniversary!

I'm not a very good knitter (my husband always laughs and says I'm the queen of everything scarf and washcloth!) but knitting, like sewing, is so much more of a cold weather activity for me. But I have been slowly working on a scarf for my son. :-)

a sequel to the rosie project???? really? I loved that book....how could a sequel equal it? (I must admit, I didn't like a girl left behind as much as me before you; it was good, but good in a different way)
