keeping the junebug warm

i don't know what it is, but ever since my little baby girl turned 5 months or so, 2 weeks haven't passed without her having caught something. mostly it's the sniffles and a cough. i've been nursing all this time, and that along with lots of snuggles has certainly helped a lot. i made sure to keep her warm, with layers and layers and wool and sheepskin while being out of doors. this winter has been long, and i'm so grateful the days are warming up! but still, there is a chill in the air, so i was happy to finish her milo vest at last, which i promptly put on her. i think vests are perfect for babies and toddlers. they keep them warm but their arms are free for all the activity that comes with this age!

i can't believe she just turned 10 months. she's smiling, winking, waving, clapping, whistling (yes!) and crawling through her days, always loving to be around other people, especially her big brother. she's a determined, entertaining and curious little girl who is mostly good natured and happy but also quick to let us know if things are not as she wishes ;))

cute little junebug, it's so lovely to have you!!
