taking a winter walk

on the weekend we took a walk around a beautiful lake that was frozen when i took this picture of the bright green moss. the saturated, fresh green color of it was unbelievable. and of course i loved walking on it, like walking on nature's thick, soft carpet. the ice on the lake was not frozen enough to walk out on it more than a foot or two. i really miss ice skating, hoping to be able to go soon!

i also got to make another wire ornament, this one is a leaf shaped pendant with beads.

wishing everybody a great start to the week!  plan on doing something creative!

the moss photo evokes such imagination. it is so contemplative. the saturated color of the moss is so inviting. the late afternoon light soothing. what a beautiful spot.

The first photo is so surreal! Looks like something from the movies-like maybe an elf should pop out from somewhere :)

Are you going to put the leaves on your etsy shop? I would like to buy one to hang in my window:))

I love moss and that view - I can almost imagine the Lady of the Lake holding Excalibur!
