one of the things i look forward to most whenever i visit my little sister simona here in the states (except for spending loads and loads of time with her of course!) is visiting the thrift stores. i do some secondhand and fleamarket shopping too in germany, but nothing compares to the thrift stores over here. honestly, i have to restrain myself not to buy bags and bags of clothes, as you get so much for so little money.
we've meant to photograph some of our new outfits, but the family is keeping us busy too, so i took some pictures of two of my favourite finds yesterday. this lovely, yellow, sunflower-y t-shirt (above) ....
and both pieces go together quite well too, as this self-timer selfportrait of mine proves. not sure why i'm looking down on this one, it does feel silly taking selfportraits out on the deck, even if nobody can see me. i cut of the legs of some clothes-swap jeans to make a pair of shorts and behind the flowers and herbs are my dark brown ballerina-style crocs. very much in love with those too! in fact, i haven't brought any closed shoes or sneakers here, because these crocs just go with anything.
linking up with what i wore wednesday. have a good one!
