diy: the mini heart garland

this is an easy lazy summer afternoon on the balcony project. all you need is some colourful paper or a few pages of magazine, a heart punch, needle and thread.

after you punched out all the hearts you can put them in a little jar. it looks pretty and they won't blow away!

after threading the hearts with a needle, use some scrap cardboard pieces to roll the garland up, so it doesn't get tangled and you can easily hang it up at the desired place on your special day.

sweet and delicate...

I actually have a heart punch that I could use! I think this will make a great hot, summer afternoon project. Thanks! xx

you know, i would've sat there and cut out every single heart. then i'd realize i could cut 2 or 3 at the same time and would've felt so smart about it. i just don't think in terms of "punches".
nice little project! i'm everybody has some old magazines or catalogs that can be recycled!
