all this talk about spring makes me realize summer will be back sooner than we know it.
we're having a warm and sunny weekend, so i'm already having visions of sunscreen, swimming, warm summer nights.
i made the above sketch a few years ago, it brings back good memories. it was an outstanding weekend on the florida coast: friends, beach, sunshine, and lots of good food...
but first it'll be spring time, a very special season too. i love the bright, fresh, juicy shades of green when the trees grow their leaves back. and all those beautiful flowering trees around! we're already planning on what to plant this year, i'll be fun getting out in the yard again to do some gardening. and spring is also such a great season for hikes and day trips. can't wait!

Oh, I love Spring but unfortunately it's still two seasons away for me :-P Springtime is perfect for family days out and alfresco eating and I just love t-shirt weather too xx
