f 1.8

i sometimes find that the everyday is so full. full of things that need to be done, taken care of, finished, started. sometimes the place we live in appears literally full. full of stuff. and then my own mind very often seems full, full of ideas, inspiration, things i want to remember, things i dwell on even though i shouldn't.

that's where my 50mm lens come in. they help me focus. with the f stop set to 1.8, i am able to focus on details, on the the little things. and everything else remains blurry.

just focus. that's want i want to remember this week. focus on delightful little things. focus on everyday beauty.

what do you want to focus on this week? whatever it is, i'm wishing you a good start to it!

Beautiful!! I want to focus on the little things too, those things that can slip out of sight if we don't really tune in and pay attention.

Very intense photos, Sylvia.
I want to focus on the tiny new buds on twigs and little leaves shooting up through the thawed soil of snowbells and crocus, of narcissus and tulips. Yes, spring is approaching!

One thing I want to focus on the project the two of us are working on together... ;)
And I also want to focus on getting one major thing a day crossed off my to-do list. The aim is to feel a sense of accomplishment by the end of the week.
